Tax Office Secondary Annual Report Award At the 30th Anniversary Young Achievement Australia National Awards Event at the Westin Sydney, Euphoriya a group made up of 23 secondary students from Baulkham Hills, Crestwood, Girraween and Cherrybrook Technology High Schools participating in the Business Skills Program were awarded the Tax Office Secondary Annual Report Award after designing and producing customised T-Shirts, BodyFaders Products and a T-Shirt Printing Service. While Euphoriya knew they were operating in a saturated market, this did not deter them in their efforts to stand out. The first thing they did was to adopt a tag line -"Wear Your Happiness". This positioning promoted affordable t-shirts that expressed individuality. Another key factor in the success of Euphoriya was their ability to engage with their peers. Through implementing a penetrated in-school marketing campaign the company was able to secure some bulk orders enabling them to break-even within the first two months of their business starting up. Success continued as word of mouth spread allowing Euphoriya to sell 308 units during its' short life. This enabled the company a return share rate of 175% to it's shareholders. "Euphoriya were a Blue Chip Company meeting the statutory obligations of a company to provide shareholders and other stakeholders with an Annual Report. The Annual Report was well written and presented and clearly demonstrated what the company had achieved throughout its' short life" explained Suzanne Sinclair, First Assistant Commissioner, Law and Practice, Australian Taxation Office. - Ends - For further information or to arrange an interview, please contact:- Carley Johns, Young Achievement Australia Ph. 02 9232 3088 or 0409 299 450 About Young Achievement Australia Young Achievement Australia is a dynamic, innovative, non government, not for profit organisation committed to developing the boundless potential of young Australians.
